3737473 - Delegate My Workflows Quick Action does not enforce required fields from AutoDelegateConfig objects

When configuring the MDF object AutoDelegateConfig, fields such as Start Date/Time and End Date/Time are set as required in Configure Object Definition.

However, when using the “Delegate My Workflows” Quick Action, these fields are not treated as mandatory and users are able to save without filling them.

The “Delegate My Workflows” Quick Action is a separate UI functionality that does not consume or rely on the AutoDelegateConfig MDF object configuration.

The AutoDelegateConfig object is used for administrative delegation setup (via Manage Data), while the Quick Action allows users to manage delegation independently.

As both functionalities are separate, MDF field-level properties such as required are not enforced in the Quick Action.

This behavior is expected by design.

Currently, there is no standard configuration available to enforce mandatory fields in the “Delegate My Workflows” Quick Action based on MDF object settings.

If this functionality is required, it is recommended to submit an enhancement request via the SAP Influence Portal.
