3737476 - Invalid House Number Range on DQM Address Validation

• Accept button in DQM address validation is not working.
• The UI keeps loading (infinite loop) after selecting Accept.
• No error message is displayed to the user when the entered house number is invalid for the suggested range.

SAP Cloud for Customer

1. Go to Sales > Opportunity
2. Create a new opportunity.
3. Open the value help for the “Object address” field.
4. Choose “Create Account”.
5. Enter an address with a house number that includes an alphanumeric suffix not present in reference data (for example, a number+letter "1 A").
6. Click “Validate Address”.
7. Click “Accept” and observe that the page keeps loading with no user-facing error.

System limitation: DQM correctly flags an invalid house number (for example, number+letter not within the valid numeric range returned in the suggestion list). The integrating application does not surface the returned validation error to the user, resulting in an apparent infinite loop when Accept is selected.

1. Enter a house number that falls within the valid range indicated by the DQM suggestion list and validate again. The valid house numbers for that address are numeric values 1–8.

2. If the required house number is not in the reference data and cannot be accepted, avoid selecting a suggestion that enforces a numeric range and correct the input accordingly.
3. Submit an enhancement request to improve the error handling when an invalid house number is entered.
