Symptom

In transaction CS11, the Print Preview button for BOM printing is no longer available after CE2602 upgrade.

Environment

SAP S/4HANA Cloud Public Edition

Reproducing the Issue

  1. Start transaction CS11.
  2. Enter the required selection parameters and execute to display the BOM.
  3. Attempt to use the Print Preview from the ALV toolbar: the Print Preview button is not available.

Cause

  • Regression due to ALV PF-STATUS/toolbar behavior changes after the upgrade. The application PF-STATUS (S111_ALV) did not include the Print Preview function, causing the button to disappear although no functional removal was intended.

Resolution

  1. A software fix will restore the Print Preview button by updating the application PF-STATUS. The correction is planned for Hotfix Collection 12 (HFC 12), scheduled to be available by 11.06.2026.
  2. As a temporary alternative, consider using the “Explode Bills of Material” app to view results (note: this app does not provide a print preview).
  3. No customer-side configuration is required; apply the hotfix when it becomes available and retest CS11.
