3737866 - I cannot see custom form approval tasks in My To Do even though I am a member of the configured approval group

I am a member of the approval group configured on a custom form, but the approval task does not appear in My To Do.
Only some members of the approval group receive the task, while others do not.
The approval flow displays the global approval group name, but the task is only routed to a subset of that group's members.
