3738060 - Bookmarks changes story formatting in SAP Analytics Cloud (SAC)

• When selecting a bookmark, the story formatting changes.
• Story formatting was modified after the bookmark was created, then when selecting the bookmark, it revert to to the old formatting.
• After selecting a bookmark in some stories, the formatting of the story changes, like: font used, font color, widget background color, ...  

SAP Analytics Cloud 2026.2.11

1. Login to SAP Analytics Cloud.
2. Create a story, and add at least one widget, like a table, or chart.
3. View the story, and create a bookmark.
4. Edit the story, and change the formatting, like font color used on a chart, or table.
5. View the story again, and apply the bookmark and observe the formatting reverts to the previous formatting instead of keeping the updated one.

• Expected behavior because bookmarks store widget state and formatting (for example, size, color, font). 
• Applying a bookmark created before the story formatting change restores the previous formatting.

Recreate bookmarks after applying major story formatting or design changes to ensure the latest styles are retained when bookmarks are used.
