Symptom

Mexico Journal Entry Details Reporting generated with error:

  • Value XYZ does not match the validation pattern [0-9]{3} PLZ:Transferencia        BancoOriNal
  • Value XYZ is not in the list of permitted values PLZ:Transferencia        BancoOriNal

Environment

SAP S/4HANA Cloud Public Edition.

Reproducing the Issue

  1. Open the Fiori app Run Statutory Reports.
  2. Execute the Mexico Journal Entry Details Reporting (MX_JE_DETAILS) report
  3. Observe the report is generated with error:
    Value BMS does not match the validation pattern [0-9]{3} PLZ:Transferencia        BancoOriNal
    Value BMS is not in the list of permitted values PLZ:Transferencia        BancoOriNal

    Cause

    Format of the bank number is not in accordance with the expected 3-digit pattern for BancoOriNal.The report expects a numeric value.
    The report fetches the first 3 characters of the Bank House Number to populate the field.

    Resolution

    1. Review the House Bank master data used for the affected payments.
    2. The house bank account should contain numeric values.
