3738125 - Consumption model shows the error message "The linked association isn’t supported" in Datasphere

The consumption model of Business Builder in Datasphere shows the following error on a dimension source: 
The linked association from ''***" isn’t supported.

After consuming this model in another application, for example Analysis for Microsoft Office (AO), the following error occurs:
Caught exception : exception 75000006: Source format error; \$[1]\$=invalidated database object:; \$[2]\$=view "***"."***" CS (42014)

1. In Datasphere Business Builder, open the affected consumption model.
2. Check the dimension sources and observe the error: The linked association from ''***" isn’t supported.
3. Navigate to the dimension sources and there are no errors.
4. In Analysis for Office, add the Datasphere connection and insert the same consumption model as a data source.
5. Observe the error: Caught exception: exception 75000006: Source format error; invalidated database object; \$[2]\$=view "***"."***" CS (42014).

Status inconsistency.

1. In Business Builder, locate to the dimension source that shows: "The linked association … isn’t supported."
2. Click on the dimension source, then automatically navigate to the following canvas:
   
3. Unlink the affected dimension source:
   
4. Link again:
   
5. Save the consumption model.
6. Deploy the corresponding perspective:
