3738168 - Axis line displays on line chart despite it is set to be hidden on a story in SAP Analytics Cloud (SAC)

• Axis line shows on a line chart in a story even though it is set to be hidden.
• After resizing the browser window, the axis line appears despite it is set to not show in SAP Analytics Cloud.

SAP Analytics Cloud 2026.2.10

1. In SAP Analytics Cloud, open a story that contains a line chart.
     
2. Insert a line chart.
     
3. Set the Axis Line of a chart to not show:
   3.1  Go to the Edit mode of the story
   3.2  Select the line chart, and in the upper right corner, click on the 3 dots.
   3.3 In the menu, navigate to: More Options > Show/Hide
   3.3  Ensure the Axis Line option is unchecked (hidden)
     
4. View the story, and at first notice the axis line is hidden, as expected.
     
5. Resize the browser window.
     
6. Observe that the axis line appears even though it is set to be hidden.

• Workaround: Format the color of the Axis Line to: "No Color"

1. 1. Open the story in Edit mode.
   2. Select the affected line chart.
   3. Open the chart menu and navigate to More Options > Show/Hide, set the Axis Line to display.
   4. On the chart, select the Axis Line.
   5. In the Styling pane, on the right side, set the Axis Line color to: "No Color"
   6. Save the story.
