3738172 - jobInfo_JPN_contingent worker field is displayed for regular employee after UI Termination

When terminating a regular employee via Termination UI, CWK-specific Job Information fields are displayed even though the employee is not a contingent worker.

When terminating a regular employee via Import, CWK-specific Job Information fields are not displayed.

When rehiring an inactive employee via UI, CWK-specific Job Information fields are not displayed.

When rehiring an inactive employee via Import, CWK-specific Job Information fields are displayed.

Prerequisite configuration: In Manage business configuration >> jobInfo,

jobInfo_JPN: custom-string A field is enabled.

jobInfo_JPN_contingent worker: custom-string A field is enabled.

jobInfo_JPN_employee: custom-string A field is NOT enabled.

SAP SuccessFactors Employee Central

1. Hire a user as a regular employee and ensure the “isContingentWorker” (non-regular employee) flag is No.
2. Terminate the user via Termination UI.
3. Open the user’s Job Information on the profile and observe that CWK-specific fields (custom-string A field) are visible.

It is confirmed as a bug by engineering team.

Engineering team plan to fix it in 2H2026. Please use the following temporary workaround to avoid the unintended CWK fields:

Perform the termination via Import and rehire via UI.
