3738217 - G/L Account Where used Financial Statement Version missing entry after changing Logon Language - S4/HANA Cloud Public Edition

G/L account assigned to Financial Statement Version (e.g. YPS2) does not reflected in Where used Financial Statement Version when user change Logon Language.

SAP S/4HANA Cloud Public Edition

1. Access app Manage Global Hierarchies,
2. Select Financial Statement Version (FSV) e.g. YPS2
3. Check the selected maintenance language(e.g. English) in the drop-down box in the top right portion of the Node list is the same as current logon language
4. Assign the G/L account under a node (e.g. 11) and maintain description texts of its parent node in the selected language 
5. Save and activate the FSV
6. Go to app Manage G/L Account Master Data
7. Search for the previously assigned G/L account and open its detail
8. Check and verify Where used Financial Statement Version is updated with newly assigned FSV
9. Switch the system language to a different language (e.g. Spanish) and navigate back to G/L Account detail in Manage G/L Account Master Data
10. Check the G/L account Where used Financial Statement Version and verify the newly assigned FSV is missing

G/L Account Where Used Financial Statement Version is language-dependent and requires a Description entry in the current logon language for its direct parent node. If Description for the relevant hierarchy node is not maintained in the logon language, the assignment does not appear when login in Spanish even though the mapping exists.

1. Open the Manage Global Hierarchies app and navigate to the relevant Financial Statement Version.
2. Maintain the texts in required logon language for the parent nodes that include the G/L account. Feature Import from Spreadsheet is useful for mass description maintenance in different languages.
3. Save and Activate the hierarchy, then switch the system language and recheck the Where used Financial Statement Version for the G/L account.
