Symptom

  • On mobile devices with SAPUI5 1.144 and higher, opening sap.m.Menu via sap.m.MenuButton positions the popover/dialog off-screen; menu options are not visible.
  • On mobile devices, a popup is shown instead of a full-screen dialog, but it appears in an incorrect position.
  • The issue is not observed on other device types and works correctly in SAPUI5 1.143.
  • No explicit error message or error code is displayed.
