In SAP S/4HANA Cloud Public Edition, in app Upload General Journal Entries, although field EV_POSTNG_CTRL is correctly added to the template, uploading more than 999 journal entries still raises error "Maximum number of journal entry is 999. Check line &1".

Even if field EV_POSTNG_CTRL is correctly added to the template, tax items and items managed as open items in the entry view aren't summarized. The limit of 999 line items will be encountered, because in database table BSEG the field for counting entry view items is three-digit, therefore 999 is the upper limit.

Split the file into less than 999 items and upload again.
