Symptom

  • After deploying 2211.43 and enabling password.encoding.auto.update.enabled=true, users cannot log in.
  • Password encoding change to argon2 does not work.
  • Issue occurs immediately after restarting all instances post-configuration.
  • Incorrect user id or password while trying to login.
