3738363 - Cannot add the same custom background element to multiple categories in Full People Profile - SAP Successfactors Employee Central

It is not possible to add the same custom background element in different categories in full people profile.

SAP SuccessFactors Employee Central

1. Navigate to Configure Latest People Profile.
2. Add a custom background element to a category.
3. Attempt to add the same custom background element to a different category.
4. Observe that the background element is not available for selection in the second category.

• This is expected system behavior: in Full People Profile, a custom background element can be assigned to only one category and cannot be reused in multiple categories.

1. Verify whether the background element is already assigned to another category in Full People Profile.
2. If you need the element in a different category, remove it from the current category and then add it to the desired category.
3. If the same information is required in multiple places, consider recreate a new custom Background Element with a similar configuration.
