3738412 - Ariba via HTTP Adapter returns error "java.net.SocketException: Connection reset" to CPI iFlow

Symptom

  • The following error occurs in the Message Processing Log of the impacted iFlow:

    java.net.SocketException: Connection reset

  • Ariba API is consumed via HTTP Adapter with OAuth2 authentication method selected.
  • The endpoint works when tested in a third-party tool (e.g. Postman).
