3738639 - Position fields are empty in Export results - Employee Central

Position-related fields are correctly maintained in Manage Data / Manage Positions, however, the same fields appear empty in the exported file.

SAP SuccessFactors Employee Central

1. Navigate to Import and Export Data;
2. Select Generic Object Position > Export;
3. Open the exported file > Check that there are some empty fields in one or more positions, which are populated in UI.

Custom UI inconsistencies.

The use of custom UI configurations for the Position object is not recommended, as it may lead to inconsistencies such as fields not being correctly reflected in export files.

To resolve this issue, please follow one of the options below:

• Remove the custom UI associated with the Position object to ensure standard system behavior (Navigate to Configure Object Definitions > Position and remove the UI from "Default Screen");
• Or, perform a Position Full Purge using the Import and Export Data tool to reset and realign the data.

After completing one of the above actions, re-run the export to verify that the Position fields are correctly populated.
