3738750 - SAC Add-in for Excel: Records Not Displayed Correctly When Using Non-Cumulative Measure in "Filter by Measure" with DataSphere Analysis Model

In an SAP Analytics Cloud (SAC) Add-in for Excel report where an SAP Datasphere analysis model is configured as the data source, records are not displayed correctly when a non-cumulative measure is specified in the "Filter by Measure" option.

Measure-based filters are not supported in combination with non-cumulative measures.

Note the following:

- A non-cumulative measure can be used as a filter condition; however, that same non-cumulative measure cannot be included in the result set simultaneously.
- More broadly, non-Cartesian tuple filters are not supported with non-cumulative measures, and measure-based filters are a specific instance of this restriction.
- In most scenarios, an appropriate error message is displayed to indicate this unsupported combination. However, for measure-based filters specifically, this error message is currently not shown — this is a known gap and improvements are in progress to surface a proper error in this scenario.

Recommended Actions:

1. Workaround: Avoid using the same non-cumulative measure both as a "Filter by Measure" criterion and as a field in the result set within the same report.
2. Product Enhancement Request: If this full capability is required for your use case, please submit an improvement request through the SAP Continuous Influence Portal for BDC Datasphere, as this would require a product enhancement beyond the scope of a support ticket.
