3738780 - ME069 shows when creating PO with some account assignment category - SAP ERP & SAP S/4HANA

Symptom

Error ME069 "Unknown account assignment not defined for use here" shows when adding a new PO item even account assignment category is not U(Unknow). 

The issue happens when all the following conditions are satisfied:

  1. Item category is neither limit, service or Enhanced Limit.
  2. Invoice receipt is set. Or, Goods receipt is set but GR non-valuated is not set.
  3. Product Type Group is not service.
