3738857 - Default message for 'assign a buddy' task

• Users want to configure a default message within the “assign a buddy” task for both the assigned buddy and the new hire to streamline task completion.
• Users expect functionality similar to the default message available in the “welcome message” task.

SAP SuccessFactors Onboarding

1. Navigate to Manage Onboarding and Offboarding Tasks in Onboarding.
2. Open the Assign a Buddy task and search for a configuration to define a default/prepopulated message for the buddy and the new hire.
3. Observe that there is no configuration option to set a default message for this task.

This capability is not available for the Assign a Buddy task; messages must be entered manually by the hiring manager or the responsible user.
