• When attempting to import MDF picklists, the import fails and displays: "You can't save this instance as there is an internal error. If the issue continues, please contact Technical Support."
• Logs show ExtCodeInternalIdIntegrityViolationException (EMPLOYEE_HRIS_GO_MULTIPLE_EXT_CODE_FOR_SAME_IC) and "Multiple External codes found for same Internal code".

The issue is caused by a mismatch in the picklist externalCode between the import file and the existing database data.

To resolve the issue, consider the instructions below:

1. Ensure that the external code used in the import file matches the existing in the instance value exactly.
2. Update the import file to use the same (lowercase /uppercase) external code as defined in the instance or use a different external code when importing the new picklist value.
