Some of the Employment Information fields are not being updated for Internal hires.

Reproducing the Issue

  1. Crossboarding has been Initiated through RCM.
  2. Observe that some of the employment information fields are not being updated for the candidate, even after passing the values from RCM.

Cause

Expected behavior

 

Resolution

During Internal Hire Onboarding initiation, we maintain original data for some of the employment information fields as they are expected not to be changed due to new Job change record.
 
The original values for following standard employment information fields are retained 
  • Start Date
  • Hire Date/Start date
  • Service Date
  • Seniority Start Date
  • First Date Worked
  • Previous Employment ID
  • Professional Service Date
  • Employee’s First Employment
  • Assignment ID
 
The values of following fields are not retained and can be mapped from Recruiting:  
  • Benefits Eligibility Start Date
  • Eligible for Stock
  • Initial Stock Grant
  • Initial Option Grant
  • Any custom field
