3739857 - Position to Job Sync is not working correctly in Latest Editing UI

When changing a position from job information, a field got removed, but when selecting another position then change it back, the value will be populated.

1. Navigate to configure people profile->note that Latest Editing and history UI is enabled
2. Navigate to any user's job information
3. Click on edit and change the position , note that a certain filed got removed
4. select another position then change it back, the field got populated again.
5. Note that this field is a picklist and has a parent picklist.

This is a known error. The fix for this issue is planned to be deployed on 2H 2026 release.

Workaround: Disable the latest editing UI from configure the latest people profile->general settings
