Symptom

  • Data Provisioning Agent (DP Agent) is showing Disconnected status.
  • The framework.trc contains the following error message.
    •  [WARN ]  DPFramework | JDBCConnector.writeMessageInternal [] - JDBC connection(X) Failed to send message to server (x of 10 attempts). Message [xx:xx:REGISTER_AGENT:SDA:0:<DP Agent_hostname>:null:null:null:0:0:REGISTER_AGENT:].
       [WARN ]  DPFramework | JDBCConnector.writeMessageInternal [] - com.sap.db.jdbc.exceptions.JDBCDriverException: SAP DBTech JDBC: [258]: insufficient privilege: Detailed info for this error can be found with guid '<guid>'
       [WARN ]  DPFramework | JDBCConnector.writeMessageInternal [] - JDBC connection(X) Waiting for 5s to resend message.
