3740062 - VCG added on vendor/source record is not retrieved by the leading product record and rebuild has no effect

Symptom

  • When a Value Copy Group (VGC) is added on a vendor (source) record, the VGC is not retrieved by the leading product record.
  • Rebuilding the product record in the catalog manager does not populate the VGC on the leading record.
  • Multiple vendor/source records contain a VGC, but the leading product record shows no VGC.
  • No error message is displayed.
