3740067 - Pricing Configuration for Automatic Discounts Based on Item Aggregation – SAP S/4HANA Cloud Public Edition

Symptom

Custom sales discount conditions require manual maintenance due to missing automatic logic, where discounts should instead be applied based on the total quantity of items within the same material group rather than per individual item in 'Change Billing documents'(VF02) app.

Environment

SAP S/4HANA Cloud Public Edition

Cause

The discount condition is not configured as a group condition, and no group condition routine is assigned to aggregate item quantities across the same material group.

Resolution

Follow below steps for configuring the condition group in Manage Your Solution' app:

  1. Open 'Manage Your Solution' app.
  2. Navigate to 'Configure Your Solution' .
  3. Search for the ID '101120'.
  4. Choose configuration activity '101120- Set Condition Types for Pricing' .
  5. Set the condition type (e.g., ZSW1) as a Group Condition.
  6. Assign Group Condition Routine 3.
  7. Maintain quantity scale prices in the condition record in the app 'Manage Price-Sales' (F4111) ,system then aggregate quantities for items within the same material price group and determine the discount based on the total quantity.

In case while using SAP Central Business Configuration (CBC) :

  1. Log on to the project experience in SAP Central Business Configuration.
  2. Select the relevant workspace.
  3. Navigate to the configurations activity tab.
  4. Search for the configuration activity '101120- Set Condition Types for Pricing' .
  5. Select the configuration activity to navigate directly to the SAP S/4HANA Cloud system.
  6. Set the condition type (e.g., ZSW1) as a Group Condition.
  7. Assign Group Condition Routine 3.
  8. Maintain quantity scale prices in the condition record in the app 'Manage Price-Sales'(F4111) ,system then aggregate quantities for items within the same material price group and determine the discount based on the total quantity.
