Symptom
In Maintain Business Partner app or the Manage Business Partner Master Data app the email address is not reflecting even after maintaining the email address in the app Manage Workforce for the Worker.
Environment
SAP S/4HANA Cloud Public Edition.
Reproducing the Issue
- Create an employee in the system with an email maintained.
- Confirm that a Business Partner is created automatically.
- Open the Manage Workforce app, search for the employee by the id, and note the associated Business Partner number.
- Open the Manage Business Partner app, search using the Business Partner number, and check the email field.
- Observe that the Business Partner email field is empty, despite the email being present in the employee data.
Cause
It is as per SAP Standard functionality.
Resolution
- Edit the Business Partner and add the email address manually via the Maintain Business Partner application or Manage Business Partner Master Data application.
- Or use the Manage Mass Maintenance - Business Partners app to update the email address for multiple records.
