3740279 - "Region of Birth" incorrectly displays Option ID instead of label in Latest People Profile - 1H2026

For users in France, Italy, Chile, Brazil or Venezuela, the 'Region of Birth' field within Biographical Information is incorrectly displaying the Option ID instead of the configured Picklist value.

SAP SuccessFactors Employee Central

1. Navigate to an affected user's profile > Personal Data;
2. Open Biographical Information and observe that Region of Birth displays as the option ID (code) instead of the picklist label.
3. Click Edit:

• In PP3, observe that the picklist label may display correctly;
• In Latest People Profile, observe that the option ID is still displayed instead of the label.

In Latest People profile, This is expected system behaviour. if you have enabled localized biographical information in that case field should be updated on localized biographical information.

FaQ:

1.   what will happen if we update standard and localised field both ? 
   • By default, once localized biographic information is enabled, standard and localized biographic will be displayed on ui. Both field are different field update one field will not impact another.  
2. How Standard Integration works with this field?
   • Standard Integration will always give priority to localized biographical info field than standard biographical info field.
3.  If we have to use localised biographical field for country why system show standard field? can we remove it ?
   • You can always use business rule to hide the standard field if needed.
