3740479 - Administrator email confirmation link expires after 72 hours

Symptom

I update my administrator email address, but the confirmation link in the email expires after 72 hours before I can click it.

The following message appears when I open the expired link:

The URL you clicked is either invalid or has expired.

If you transcribed the URL, verify the URL is correct or you can copy and paste the URL into your web browser. If you continue to experience issues, click Resend Email to have Ariba email you another confirmation email.
