3740576 - multidimensional report url does not preserve application state when copied from browser address bar in fiori launchpad

Symptom

  • A multidimensional report exposed as a tile on the launchpad does not preserve the application state when the URL is copied from the browser address bar and opened in another tab or browser session.
  • The app opens with the default values defined in the analytical query instead of the adjusted filters/layout.
  • In some apps the Share button does not offer a “Copy link” option; other share options (for example, e-mail, save as tile) may be available.
  • Even if the URL contains the sap-iapp-state parameter, the latest in-app changes might not be reflected when the URL is copied from the address bar.
