3740660 - Deploying a view auto-deploys dependencies in data builder in SAP Datasphere

When deploying the target view, some source or dependent views are getting deployed as well.

• Underlying dependent objects in the lineage have the semantic usage “Analytic Dataset (deprecated)”. When present, deployment of the target view also deploys these dependent views to ensure a valid status or
• Some of the dependent objects are changes which might impact the target view.

1. Open the impact and lineage analysis of the target view to identify all dependent objects.
2. Check each dependent object for semantic usage “Analytic Dataset (deprecated)”.
3. For objects using “Analytic Dataset (deprecated)”, re-model them to a supported semantic type (for example, Fact, Relational Dataset, Dimension) depending on your modeling guidance.
4. Deploy the final-level view again and verify that only the intended view is deployed.
5. If any dependencies still auto-deploy, re-check lineage for remaining deprecated analytical artifacts and repeat steps 2–5.
