3740757 - BAPI_RE_CN_CHANGE cannot delete valuation time slice after valuation step exists

Symptom

When attempting to delete a valuation rule time slice using BAPI_RE_CN_CHANGE, the process fails with error messages:

  • RECETM 018 “Valuation rule … [From …] was already used in valuation process”
  • BAPI 003 “Instance … of object type ContractREFX could not be changed”
