3740848 - Cannot Change Responsible Cost Center of WBS Element After Financial Plan Data Upload

The cost center cannot be changed in the WBS element after financial plan data has been uploaded.

SAP S/4HANA Cloud Public Edition

1. Create a WBS element.
2. Import budget data via the Budget Data app and upload it to the WBS element.
3. Open Enterprise Project Management and click on Project Planning.
4. Try to adjust the cost center of the WBS element.

The system works as designed: after a project is created, the company code cannot be edited; and once there are postings (for example, financial plan data) on a project or WBS element, the responsible cost center can no longer be changed.

Once a project is created it is no longer possible to edit the Company Code. Then once there are postings on a WBS/Project it is no longer possible to edit the Cost Center.
