3740888 - The 'Details' popover is automatically highlighting the entities' titles

After the 1H2026 release, there is a new Details popover available, which is shown when clicking on assigned entities' cards. However, the entities' titles are getting automatically selected and highlighted when doing so.

SAP SuccessFactors Learning

1. Log into HCM > navigate to the Learning homepage >

2. For an assigned entity, click on its card to open the Details pop-up >

3. In the Details pop-up, notice that the title gets automatically selected and highlighted in a dark color >

4. Close the Details pop-up, and notice that now the card's title gets selected and highlighted in a dark color.

5. The same behavior also happens when opening requests (at the Requests for Me section), such as pending E-signature verifications or External Training requests: when clicking on the request, the 'View Details' link gets highlighted.

As per Engineering team, this scenario is the application's expected behavior and and necessary to maintain accessibility compliance.

When a dialog is opened by the user, the focus can not be lost. The Entity title link is the first focusable item in the dialog. As a result, focus is automatically set to it.
