Post 1H 2026 relase, when access Manage Pending Hire, error pop up:

Cannot invoke "com.successfactors.hris.bean.MatchingUserConfiguration.getRehireTargetPopulationRBP()" because the return value of "com.successfactors.onboarding2.util.activities.ONB2UserUtil.getMatchingUserConfiguration()" is null

Workaround

Please follow steps to create Hire/Rehire Configuration:

1. Go to Manage Data >> Create New
2. Select Hire/Rehire Configuration
3. Provide a code, such as MATCHINGUSERCONFIG,
4. You can select No to rehire criteria such as "Enable search for employees using first name and last name" to meet your business requirement.
5. Click Save
6. Refresh Odata metadata cache
7. Go to Manage Pending hire and verify if the issue is resolved.
