Symptom
When running configtool.sh from the Config Tool directory, the tool does not open or is not displayed correctly. No explicit error appears in the terminal, but the configtool trace/log contains errors such as:

java.awt.HeadlessException: No X11 DISPLAY variable was set, but this program performed an operation which requires it.
