3741080 - Custom Object Field Displays as “-” in History UI While Showing Correct Value in Edit UI

• The custom object displays correctly in Manage Data and in the employee profile Edit UI, but the History UI does not show the correct value for certain fields.
• In other words, in Edit mode the field correctly shows the value that matches Manage Data, but in History mode it displays as "-".

SAP SuccessFactors HCM Suite

• Step 1: Go to the employee profile, search for the sample user
• Step 2: Navigate to the custom MDF portlet
• Step 3: In the edit mode, the data correctly displays value which matches the one in manage data
• Step 4: Switch to History mode and observe that the specified field displays "-" 

Engineering has identified this as a defect. The behavior occurs within the MDF dialog and involves additional metadata logic.

Because the fix touches shared logic, it requires thorough validation to ensure there are no unintended side effects.
