Symptom

  • Cannot access or start the DP Agent Configuration Tool after updating the DP Agent.
  • Running "agentcli.bat --configAgent" fails to launch the configuration tool.
  • Error includes: Exception in thread "main" java.lang.ExceptionInInitializerError.
  • Error includes: java.lang.SecurityException: class "com.sap.hana.dp.log4jfragment.AgentRolloverStrategy"'s signer information does not match signer information of other classes in the same package.
