3741192 - Discount Values Are Reset After Updating Quote Items

• User-entered recurring or one-time discount values are not preserved after updating a quote item.
• After editing a quote item without making any changes and selecting Update, the previously entered discount value is reset to the default value.

SAP CPQ

1. Open a quote.
2. Enter a recurring or one-time discount for a quote item.
3. Save the quote.
4. Refresh the quote and verify that the discount value is retained.
5. Select Edit for the quote item.
6. Make no changes.
7. Select Update.

Result:

The previously entered discount value is reset (for example, from 20% to 0%).

• The application parameter "When updating quote item, reapply default discount" is enabled.
• When this parameter is set to True, the default discount is reapplied whenever a quote item is updated, replacing the manually entered discount value.

1. Set the application parameter "When updating quote item, reapply default discount" to False.
2. After disabling this parameter, manually entered recurring and one-time discount values are preserved when updating quote items.
