3741195 - Opening Job Profiles link from Employee Profile Actions feature shows error after 1H26 release

Symptom

After 1H26 release, "Unable to complete this request. You may not have access to the job profile, or the job profile may not exist. " error appears when Job Profiles is opened directly from Employee Profile > All Actions feature or via a deeplink set in the Home page custom card or Home dropdown menu.

Reproducing the Issue

  1. Open any user's Employee Profile 
  2. Click on All Actions 
  3. Click on Job Profiles
  4. Error appears: "Unable to complete this request. You may not have access to the job profile, or the job profile may not exist." 
  5. Or click the deeplink set in the custom Home page card (Home dropdown menu).
  6. The same error appears.

Cause

This is a known issue. 

Resolution

The fix for has been planned and  deployed with the patch release scheduled for 05-May-2026.  

However, the issue is still present for Deeplinks of Job profiles. This scenario is still under investigation.

Workaround

  • Access Manage Job Profiles tool via actions or link in the People Profile.
