When trying to open a Candidate Application for a Job Requisition with a Job Profile that uses competencies, an application error appears

SAP SuccessFactors Recruiting Managment

1. Open the Candidate Workbench for a Job Requisition with a Job Profile that uses competencies
2. When trying to access any application, an error appears

The issue may be caused by missing or unmapped competencies. 

To check if there are missing or unmapped competencies:

1. Navigate to Admin Center -> Manage Data
2. Search for JobReqCompetencyMappingEntity and search for an affected Job Requisition ID 
3. The results show us a list of all competencies for the Job Requisition
4. Any that are incomplete, or unmapped will result in an application error
   

1. Navigate to Admin Center -> Manage Data
2. Use the Take Action menu to delete any competencies that are no longer required, or to map any that are unmapped.
3. After deleting or mapping the entries highlighted, Applications can be loaded successfully once more.
