3741343 - Issue with file name when downloading applicant documents in the Latest Workbench

Symptom

When using the Latest Workbench, and attempting to download documents for an applicant, the PDF file name that is generated has a numeric value instead of the Candidates name. The issue so far has only been noticed for Candidates whose names are spelt with Greek Characters.

Reproducing the Issue

  1. Go to the Latest Workbench
  2. On an applicant whose name is spelled using the Greek alphabet, attempt to download documents on their application.
  3. The newly generated PDF file that is downloaded shows a numeric value in the place of the candidate's name as the system fails to convert the special characters.

Cause

This is a known issue.

Resolution

A Code Fix has been developed for this issue, and will be deployed in the H1 2026 release. Dates are below;
