3741385 - Output Not Automatically Determined in Goods Movement (MIGO) – SAP S/4HANA Cloud Public Edition

When performing a Goods Movement in Transaction MIGO, the system does not automatically determined Output. Users are required to manually select the output because the Output section remains empty.

SAP S/4HANA Cloud Public Edition

1. Go to MIGO.
2. Perform a goods movement.
3. Check the Output section before or after posting.
4. The output table is empty; no default Output Type (e.g., GOODS_ISSUE_SLIP) is found.

The System fails to find a Matching Rule in Output Parameter Determination because of a mismatch between the document data (for example, Movement Type, Print Version) and the criteria defined in the Output Parameter Determination (OPD) decision tables (for example, strict use of “Print Active”, “Print Item”, or “Transaction Event Type”).

To enable automatic output determination, ensure the Output Parameter Determination (OPD) rules align with your transactional data:

1. Open the Output Parameter Determination app and select the 'Goods Movement' business object.
2. Review the 'Output Type' and 'Receiver' decision tables. If rules are too restrictive, remove specific values from condition columns (like Movement Type or Print Version) or leave them blank to allow for broader matching.
3. Ensure the 'Print Active' flag and 'Transaction Event Type' (e.g., WA, WE) exactly match the data triggered during the MIGO process.
4. Activate the changes to trigger automatic determination in future MIGO postings.
