3741516 - Show Changes button not visible for Bank Account approver

In Manage Bank Accounts app, a user make changes for a specific Bank Account and send it for approval.

In app: My Inbox - For Bank Accounts, a task exists for the approver to review the changes. When the user responsible for the approval opens the Bank Account, Show Changes button is not visible.

SAP S/4HANA Cloud Public Edition

1. Open Manage Bank Accounts app with user ABC.
2. Select a bank account and change a field (for example, Bank Account Type).
3. Send the change for approval.
4. Log in with user DEF and open the same bank account while the request is in approval, or open the approval task in My Inbox and navigate to the bank account.
5. Observe that the Show Changes button is not visible.

(ABC represents the user who made the changes and DEF represents the user responsible for approval)

The cause can be one or more of the following items:

• Workflow for Bank Accounts was not set up correctly, or multiple workflows are active.
• The approver's Business Role doesn't include the necessary Business Catalogs.
• The approver's Business Role have restrictions.

• Review the current Workflow in app: Manage Workflows – For Bank Accounts and ensure it is set up according to Help Document:  Defining Your Own Workflows | SAP Help Portal.
• Verify if the approver’s Business Role includes the necessary Business Catalogs to access it both in apps: My Inbox - For Bank Accounts and Manage Bank Accounts (SAP_FIN_BC_CM_BAM2_PC and SAP_FIN_BC_CM_BAM2_BASIC_PC).

• Confirm that there are no restrictions on the Business Role assigned for the approver:

1. Go to app Maintain Business Roles.
2. Search and open the Business Role which pertains the apps aforementioned.
3. Click on Display Restrictions.
4. Ensure that there are no restrictions to the apps and transactions related.
