3741608 - Delete Rule is not supported for object Time Recording and Allowance Recording

Symptom

When assigning delete rules to object Time Recording or Allowance Recording, the error messages occur: 
You can’t add Delete Rules to object definition TimeRecording.
You can’t add Delete Rules to object definition AllowanceRecording.

Environment

SAP SuccessFactors Time Tracking

Reproducing the Issue

  1. Navigate to admin tool Configure Object Definition.
  2. Find object Time Recording.
  3. Assign a delete rule
  4. Observe the error "You can’t add Delete Rules to object definition TimeRecording."

Cause

This is expected behavior as of now. 

Resolution

Kindly raise an enhancement request if you wish to change the behavior.
