3741616 - shpcon idoc ignores posnr for batch split; automatic delivery item numbering causes posnr mismatch and misleading error item - SAP s/4hana

Symptom

  • The SHPCON IDOC assigns batch split item numbers automatically during delivery update and does not take the POSNR provided in the IDOC segment.
  • Mismatch occurs between POSNR values in the IDOC segment and the outbound delivery items with LIPS-POSNR for batch split items.
  • When an error occurs, the item number shown in the error message refers to the automatically assigned item number in the outbound delivery, not the POSNR from the IDOC.
  • The material number shown in the error message is correct.
