3741829 - “There’s no data yet When there is, you’ll see it here.” – Compensation Information Summary Card Permission issue – 1H2026

Symptom

If user does not have permissions to any Compensation data fields, and the admin flag for 'hidePieChart' is false, and there is no pie chart data, but there is recurring pay component data, we see the message “There’s no data yet When there is, you’ll see it here” without the 'view all' button.

In PPX, users can no longer see Compensation information summary card details despite having the same permissions as granted in 2H2025.

Additionally, they cannot bypass the message: “There’s no data yet When there is, you’ll see it here” as with 2H2025 and click ‘view all’ within the summary card.

    Reproducing the Issue

    1. Log in to SF instance
    2. Confirm user has permissions to 'Compensation Information Actions > View Current'
    3. Confirm user has permissions to view pay component(s) assigned.
    4. Proxy as ESS on self > 'There's no data yet When there is, you'll see it here' message observed on summary card.

    Cause

    Known defect.

    Root Cause Analysis:

    The summary card is not showing any data because according to the query, there is no data. The issue is that when the 'hidePieChart' is disabled we do not query for the recurring pay components. Since we do not query for these components, and there is no chart data and user has no permissions to see root level fields, we show no data card.

    Resolution

    The intended patch delivery in Production release, on May 14h, for all environments.

    Workaround:

    Set hidePieChart to true in 'configure latest people profile'.
