3741982 - material catalog profile from material master not overriding notification type in quality notifications after move to s/4hana

Symptom

  • After switching from a legacy system to s/4hana, the catalog profile stored in the material master no longer overrides the catalog  from the quality notification type.
  • Only the default catalog profile from the notification type is applied in the quality notification, even when a material is referenced.
  • Attempting to change the catalog profile in the notification shows: “The current catalog profile does not allow a change in catalog profile” (Message No. IM166).
