3742151 - Error "The filter specification of this group cannot be restored" when opening Permission Group Membership – SAP SuccessFactors HCM Suite

Error while opening active membership of permission group: The filter specification of this group cannot be restored. This can be caused by a new data model or internal changes.

• SAP SuccessFactors HCM Suite

1. Go to Manage Permission Groups.
2. Open an impacted permission group.
3. Select Active Memberships.
4. Observe the error message and that the group configuration may appear blank.

The field used to filter the permission group is no longer available for selection in Filters (for example, the username field is not present in DGFilters/Standard Elements).

1. Go to Manage Business Configuration.
2. Select Filters.
3. Expand DGFilters.
4. Choose Take Action > Make Correction.
5. Open Details, add the field used by the group filter (for example, username) under Standard Elements, and Save.
6. If your configuration relies on Custom Filters and the field is supported there, also expand Custom Filters > default, choose Take Action > Make Correction, add the required field, and Save.
7. Return to Manage Permission Groups, open the impacted group, and verify that Active Memberships loads without error.
