3742178 - MDS_COMPARE_TOOL reports false inconsistencies for names and remarks - SAP ERP and S/4HANA

Symptom

When running the Master Data Synchronization comparison tool (MDS_COMPARE_TOOL) to validate data consistency between Business Partners and Customers or Vendors, the following incorrect results occur:

  1. Communication Remarks: The tool reports discrepancies in the "Remark" field for communication methods beyond standard Telephone, Fax, or Email (specifically affecting types ADR4 through ADR12).
  2. Name Fields: False inconsistencies are flagged for name fields (First Name/Last Name) when the string exceeds 10 characters without spaces.
