3742181 - Is it possible to create new entries in the configuration activity "Define Substitution Reasons"? - SAP S/4HANA Cloud Public Edition

Symptom

After accessing the Define Substitution Reasons configuration activity, there is no option to create new entries.

Environment

SAP S/4HANA Cloud Public Edition

Reproducing the Issue

  1. Open the Configuration Activity Define Substitution Reasons;
  2. Check for the Create entries button and see it's not there

Cause

At the moment, the configuration activity Define Substitution Reasons values are pre-delivered and coordinated by SAP, which means that it is not possible to create custom entries in this configuration.

Also, this configuration activity is not available to customer access, there is no Configuration activity that can be accessed via front end apps.

Resolution

Since development tracks the customers ideas via the SAP Customer Influence portal, SAP recommendation is to create a feature request for this business requirement in the SAP Customer Influence portal.
